Buenos Aires, December 19 (NA) – A man was detained in the city of Puerto Iguazú in Misiones province, accused of selling a lethal psychoactive drug known as 'Pedra'. Official sources informed the Argentine News Agency that the investigation began in April when officers from the Airport Security Police (PSA) sent data to the Federal Prosecutor's Office about drug trafficking in the area. This led to a request for authorization to initiate the investigation and identify the alleged perpetrator, who was located at a residence. As the investigation progressed, two other homes were identified where drug sales were taking place. Three more search warrants were executed, leading to the arrest of the suspect while he was selling the drug. Officers seized cash, three precision scales, a vehicle, 50 caliber 22mm ammunition, four cell phones, and 1,156 grams of 'Pedra', an illicit substance created from cocaine residue.
